Ghost posts

A while back I had things setup so posts to my Bloglines blog would be fed over here via RSS. That feed broke and I haven’t gotten around to fixing it, so I started just using the Bloglines “blog this” as a “to read” marker. Well it looks like the non-functional feed decided to start working again as a few articles have shown up.

Odd. And I’m sure tracking down what-was-wrong-but-no-longer-is will be a bitch and a half.

Roommate wanted

I just heard a pretty sick story on the evening news (occasionaly I will acually, gasp! WATCH news). Three sisters in thier 70s and thier niece in her 30s lived in a one bedroom apartment in Flushing when one of the sisters died. This was only discovered after the landlord called 311 because he had noticed a very bad smell. It turns out that the sister had been dead for several days and the rest of family was still living with the body. :!:  No word of cause of death yet. Needless to say the sisters and neice were taken to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

They Might be Lounge Singers?

I was just on the way to get the car washed and while I was stopped at a red light I was next to a carnival sponsored by one of the neighborhood schools. I actually started singing along before I realized that I was hearing an amature lounge style rendition of “She’s an Angel” by They Might Be Giants! Rather surreal.
