Apparently I spoke too soon when I said eveything is working ok with WP2.0. It seems that the wpg2 plugin (which is what I use to embed pictures stored in my gallery into posts) is doing something to the rss feed. Any post which is included on the feed that contains a wpg2 tag (read picture) is being read as new and/or updated by both Bloglines and whatever script is powering Planet Ars Lounge.

I had noticed some odd behaviour with wpg2 and rss under previous versions of wordpress as well, but with the move to 2.0 it seems to be much more of a problem. Until I figure this out, I’m disabling the plugin (except when I’m not, for testing you know).

Today was our monthly trip to Mitsuwa and, since it’s practically Halloween, we took Tylor in his costume. He’s a monkey this year

So I’m driving to work and 1010WINS just ran a story about the electronic speed monitoring devices on the EZ-Pass lanes of the NJ turnpike and Garden state party, or rather the lack of these devices. Really the whole story was, “Hey guys! No one is watching, go ahead and speed!” I’m kinda at a loss trying to figure how someone thought that would make a good story.
