Ahh, Pismo

I got a kick out of kennedye welcoming back his Pismo. I picked up a used Pismo from my old company, back when the .com layoffs resulted in a surplus of machines. It wasn’t my first Mac, but it was (and still is) my favorite. The sleek black design has a warm feel that isn’t matched by any Apple laptop since. I know I’m not the only one who considers that generation the pinnacle of laptop design. My Pismo served me well for several years until I found a titanium in the trash (seriously). Even then, the Pismo was still my main laptop (face it, a titanium isn’t really THAT much faster). A few months ago however, I went to turn it on and found a brick. Alas, the power connector finally had finally gave up the fight, and as of now I can’t get it to charge.

It still sits in my bedroom though, waiting for me.

200GB iPod Nano

My Nano is on order (thanks Honey) but as soon as it get’s here I think I’m going to have to bump up it’s storage.

816

This is delightfully absurd, and the pic of the finished product in particular cracks me up.

Cary sent me a link to a sweet little [chainmail iPod case](http://unclehornhead.blogspot.com/2005/06/ipod-envelope-of-love-mrs.html).
