At the morning meeting

I’m just sitting here at our morning track status meeting. Here you see Sid giving the track wide announcements. Behind him you can see our test script pass/fail board. Pretty, eh?

We went to brunch at my ex-coworker and friend Cary Wongs place today. It was Sue, Tylor and I; Cary, his wife Peggy, son Eric and new son A.J.; and another ex-coworker Ari, Leslie, and thier daughter Isadora. As with any group of fairly young parents, talk revolved around children. We showed off what our spawn could do, exchanged tips on how we were coping, and discussed other parent type stuff. Suprisingly, I had a good time. Maybe I’m getting the hang of this father gig.
When we got home, Sue and Tylor went to bed for his evening nap. That was around 5:30. I expected them to be up at 7:30 or 8 for dinner, but as of 11:30 they are still asleep. I guess I’ll see when theywake up tomorrow (given the fact that Tylor did not eat dinner, it could be very early tomorrow).
